Let us now join our hearts and voices in prayer for all who journey with us to the kingdom of God:

That the grace of God may bind our Church and parish into a company of faithful disciples of Jesus: let us pray to the Lord.

That our bishops, priests, and teachers may prophesy to all people “the glad tidings of salvation”: let us pray to the Lord.

That the peoples and nations of the world may work together to cast out of the human family hunger, materialism, prejudice, and injustice: let us pray to the Lord.

That we may hear the voices of the prophets among us who call us to transform our world and renew our hearts in “the Word of truth”: let us pray to the lord.

That the sick and the dying, the poor and homeless, the addicted and lost, may find, in our help and compassion, the restoring love of Christ the Healer: let us pray to the Lord.

That those who have died in the peace of Christ [especially _________], may inherit God’s promise of life in the Resurrection: let us pray to the Lord.

That God will hear the prayers we now offer in the silence of our hearts [Pause...]: let us pray to the Lord.

Hear our prayers, O Lord, and be with us on our journey. May your peace guide our steps and hope light our way as we journey through life to the joy of your kingdom, where you live and reign for ever and ever.

Let us lift up our hearts and voices to the Lord in prayer for all members of the human family:

That the Spirit may enter into us, making of our Church and parish a community of compassion and forgiveness: let us pray to the Lord.

That Pope N., Bishop N., Father N., and our Church’s bishops, priests, and ministers may be effective prophets of the justice and mercy of God: let us pray to the Lord.

That President N., Governor N., and the leaders of nations, states, and cities may lead their peoples with the authority born of wisdom and selflessness: let us pray to the Lord.

That God’s Spirit of peace and love may dwell within all families and households: let us pray to the lord.

That the sick and the dying, the powerless and the addicted, may be restored to health and hope: let us pray to the Lord.

That our deceased relatives and friends [especially _________], may be reborn in the new life of the Risen Christ: let us pray to the Lord.

That God will hear the prayers we now offer in the silence of our hearts [Pause...]: let us pray to the Lord.

We come to you in hope, O Lord, knowing that you will hear the prayers we ask in faith. May your Spirit of wisdom and truth rest upon us always so that we may be prophets of your great love. Grant these prayers we offer. in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.

In gratitude for what has been, in hope for what will be, let us offer our prayers to the God of life and joy:

For our Church and parish, that we may be a community rich in the love of Christ: let us pray to the Lord.

For Pope N., Bishop N., Father N., and the bishops, priests, and deacons of our Church, that their ministries may touch the people they serve with compassion and understanding: let us pray to the Lord.

For the nations and peoples of the world, that they may recognize, respect, and affirm the dignity of every person made in the very image of God: let us pray to the Lord.

For all parents and guardians, that, like Jairus, they may seek the love and kindness of God for their children: let us pray to the lord.

For those who mourn and grieve, for families divided, for those consumed by despair and fear, that the love of God may transform their “mourning into dancing”: let us pray to the Lord.

For the faithful who have died [especially _________], that they may rise to the new life of the Risen Christ: let us pray to the Lord.

For the prayers we now make in the silence of our hearts [Pause...]: let us pray to the Lord.

Lord of all hopefulness, Author of all goodness, hear our prayers. Do not let us surrender our hope to fear, but may your Spirit inspire us to trust always in what is right and good.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
