Wondrous area all God’s works of creation; unfathomable is the depth of God’s love for us. In joyful hope, then, let us offer our prayers God, our Creator and Father:

That our Church and parish community may be a place of welcome and safety for those who are afraid, lost, or alone: let us pray to the Lord.

That the bishops, priests, and ministers of our Church may be “impelled” by the love of Christ to serve God’s holy people with selflessness and compassion: let us pray to the Lord.

That our nation, in its foreign policies and affairs, may be brother and sister to all the nations of the world: let us pray to the Lord.

That we may give thanks to the Creator for the gift of the seas and the blessings of the earth by our just and responsible stewardship of the environment: let us pray to the lord.

That we may calm the storms of fear, greed, and bigotry by our compassion, understanding, and support of those in need: let us pray to the Lord.

That the faithful who have died [especially _________], may become a new creation in the Risen One: let us pray to the Lord.

That God will hear the prayers we now speak in the silence of our hearts [Pause...]: let us pray to the Lord.

Gracious God, bless us with the wisdom, patience, andto feel your presence amid the winds of despair and to hear your voice amid the roar of anger and mistrust to see your light in the darkness of prejudice and We ask these things in the name of Jesus, the Lord.

For our Church and parish community, that our work and worship together may proclaim he kindness and faithfulness of our God: let us pray to the Lord.

For those who serve our Church as pastors and teachers, that, through their ministries, the Word of God may take root  in our lives: let us pray to the Lord.

For those in government and public service, that, in all laws and public policies, they may seek to uphold the sacred dignity of every man, woman, and child: let us pray to the Lord.

For all farmers and food producers, that God will bless their labors with a bountiful harvest for the benefit of all: let us pray to the lord.

For those who have dedicated themselves to the service of the poor and the oppressed, that their efforts may reap  an abundant harvest of compassion and justice: let us pray to the Lord.

For our deceased relatives and friends [especially _________], that they may “flourish (forever) in the house: let us pray to the Lord.

For the prayers we now offer in the silence of our hearts [Pause...]: let us pray to the Lord.

Accept the gift of our prayers, O Lord, which we offer for every member of our human family Like the crest of the cedar tree, may we welcome all who come to us in need;

like the harvested seed, may we grow in love and faith; like the mustard seed, may we praise you in even the smallest act of kindness and joy. We ask these things in the name of our Lord and Teacher, Jesus Christ.

To the God of kindness and forgiveness, to the Father who redeems us through the Son, let us confidently offer our prayers:

That our Church and parish may be a place of forgiveness and reconciliation for all: let us pray to the Lord.

That those who bring the good news of Christ to others through the ministries of teaching and healing may be received with welcome and joy: let us pray to the Lord.

That the nations and peoples of the world may be united in their common pursuit of God’s justice and peace: let us pray to the Lord.

That families in crisis may find new joy and love in their life together through the healing presence of Christ: let us pray to the lord.

That those mired in grief, despair, or addiction may, with our help and support, be raised up to joy, purpose, and hope: let us pray to the Lord.

That those who have died in the peace of Christ [especially _________], may live forever in the dwelling place of God: let us pray to the Lord.

That God will hear the prayers we now offer in the silence of our hearts [Pause...]: let us pray to the Lord.

O Lord, may the prayers we offer with one voice make us one in heart and spirit as well. Grant these prayers which we make to you in the name of Christ Jesus, the Lord.
